Spring Chick Challenge Week 11

Never thought I would say that I can't wait for this week to be over fasting has turned out to be interesting. Never thought that 6pm would take so long to get here everyday  but i'm still hanging tough.. LOL!!!

My calories were good for week 10. Exercise a little lacking. I had lots of fun during week 10 it was a pretty interesting week... with work and school... !!!

Mini-challenge that I will MOS DEF ROCK VEGGIE AND FRUIT FRENZY!!! Seeing that those are the only things I can eat from 6am to 6pm I think I have this on lock!!!


Fitness:

  • Exercise 5 out of 7 days
  • Tuesday after school try to get in some strength training and cardio done for 45 minutes to an hour since i'm working from home this day.
  • 15 minutes minimum of exercise all other days
  • Variety of workouts (Wii, walking etc.)
  • I'm hoping to lose some weight but I have to remember (NSV)
Work/College/church

  • Work schedule this week Monday - Friday 6:00 am until 5pm
  • Church Praise team practice @9pm Monday
  • (Tuesday Morning school from 8:00am to 12:30am/ work from home Tuesday
  • School Wednesday Night 5:30 to 8:30 pm
  • School Online Only class Thursday (but I can pretty much do the work when I want as long as I sign in every Thursday for at least an hour and hand in my homework and do what ever assignments and/or quizzes are required)
  • All week try to fit in my own schedule... (homework, exercise)
Food intake
I'm fasting for 10 days from 6am to 6pm (strictly fruits, vegetables and water)

  • all meats baked (chicken, fish etc..)
  • salads, vegetables
  • Daily calories 1520 calories
  • MyfitnessPal is my tracker of choice (having trouble keeping up with this)
  • water intake might varies but will try 8 plus glass per day( i only drink water and sometimes lose track)

Spring Chick Challenge Week 10

Hello Spring Chicks week 9 was good for me. I did great with my time management and exercise and as usual my eating habits. But i'm still having a hard time tracking my meals although it only takes two seconds to type it in my cellphone. I write it down and then forget to put it in my phone. Working in a doctors office I can't have my phone on all the time because of the diagnostic equipment.

Anyway, Week 10 will be a little different for me. In support of the church leaders who are doing a fast for 21days some of us have decided to join in on the fast but just do it for 10 days. So for 10 days from 6am to 6pm I can only eat fruits and vegetables and only drink water. Which shouldn't be to hard but we will see. At work I should be ok, the weekend will be the true test. I just have to remember when I am starving at 6pm not to eat the whole house down.. LOL!!!

Spring Chick Challenge Week 9

Hello Chicks I skipped my post for week 8. I had 4 midterms and 4 quizzes to study for sorry!! I did keep to my diet and exercise but I just stayed off the computer. As for Week 9 I plan on keeping to my usual plans. Fitness: walking, biking and videos; meals: planning them out and eating the right things; fun: well i'm not sure if I can fit it in but I will try to hit the movies this weekend; and finally Friends: my husband is my best-friend and my greatest support.

Spring Chick Challenge Week 7

Week 6 update: Week 6 went well. I was able to start getting back into the swing of things with excersing more. I lost a pound so I feel great about that. Took in a comedy show with the hubby on Saturday night which was wonderful.

  • Thursday @ 5pm kicks off Pastors anniversary

  • Friday @ 5pm second day for Pastors anniversay celebration.
  • Friday night @ 10pm set up hall for banquet on Saturday

SPRING CHICK CHALLENGE WEEK 6

Week 5 update: Well I haven't gotten back into the groove of things just yet. Still only was able to exercise 3 times this week. Which was better than week 4 when I was placed on bed rest and did no exercise. My schedule doesn't change much from week to week and I try to keep it the same because I am so busy. One thing i'm glad for is that the anniversary party is almost here that is one less stressful thing I will have to worry about. I'm pretty much able to stick to my diet with no problems so that is not a problem for me its just trying to fit in the exercise and keeping up with the blog and logging my meals. I write them down but then forget to enter them on myfitness pal... Good luck this week everyone!!!!

Spring Chick Challenge Week 4

Week 3 went ok I lost one pound . Week 4 Started off as a bust for me I was sick and didn't have a chance to post anything Sorry!!! I did try to keep up with my diet although I was sick at the beginning of the week it was a little hard, I had to I couldn't keep anything down. As for my schedule it remained the same. It is really terrible when you get points taken away 10plus from a grade for missing school so I sucked it up and took my butt to class and work... The one bad thing about working for a doctor.  It's bring your butt to work so I can give you some shots to make you feel better... Which did get rid of the nausea but I still could not eat much, well at least keep it down.

I hope everyone else is having a better week!
